HOW TO GUIDE:
  1. HOW TO KEEP YOUR MP3/MP4 FROM SHUTTING DOWN AFTER A FEW MINUTES:
    1. Turn the MP4 Player on and go to SETUP.
    2. Press the MENU button and it will take you to System Setting menu.
    3. Scroll to POWER OFF and press the MENU button.
    4. Go to OFF TIME and press the MENU button.
    5. With the PREVIOUS button press continuously until you reach 0, then press the MENU button again and it will take you to the System Setting menu once more.
    6. Press the MENU button again in POWER OFF, select SLEEP TIME with the MENU button and follow the same steps as indicated in E.
    7. Once both sections are set to 0, you may exit.
      NOTE: The screen does go into sleep mode if not being used. If this happens, press any button to light up the screen.

  2. HOW TO ACTIVATE RADIO (IT DOES NOT HAVE RADIO, IT SKIPS RADIO BUTTON):

    In order to activate this function, please follow the following steps:
    1. Press the volume button 4 times, when you are in the main menu.
    2. Press the PLAY button one time.
    3. The FM radio should be activated.

  3. HOW TO PROPERLY DISCONNECT YOUR MP3/MP4 FROM THE COMPUTER:
    1. Using the mouse, left click the icon that is located in the bottom right hand corner of the computer screen (by the clock). This icon appears when the computer recognizes the MP3/MP4.
    2. Click on the window that appears and it reads “Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device”
    3. The computer will then let you know when it is safe to unplug the USB cord.

      NOTE: Please always follow this procedure when disconnecting, so that it may not damage the object. Not following this step is one of the main reasons why MP3/MP4 players get ruined.

  4. HOW TO PROPERLY SHUT DOWN YOUR MP3/MP4 PLAYER:
    1. Press the play button and hold until the screen displays “Bye Bye”.
    2. Then you may move the button to “Off” located in the top left hand corner of the model.

  5. HOW TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC:
    1. Connect the MP4 or MP3 player to the computer using the USB cord.
    2. Once the USB cord is connected, the computer will recognize the new plug-in. You will notice this when a small icon appears in the bottom right hand corner of the computer (where the clock is located).

      NOTE: Some computers will bring up a window asking you to open the connection using different options. Others ask you to do it manually by going to “My Computer”.
    3. Open Removable Drive folder and leave open. This is the where all of your songs will be saved into.
    4. Open “My Music” folder and leave open. This is where all of your music is currently saved. NOTE: When you download music from CDs, Internet, etc. to programs such as Dell Jukebox, Windows Media, etc., it automatically gets saved in the “My Music” folder, even iTUNES. But please note that iTUNES music cannot be copied into the MP4 or MP3 player.
    5. In the “My Music” folder, copy the music that you would like to save into the MP4/MP3 player by right clicking the mouse and pressing Copy.
    6. In the Removable Drive folder, paste the music that you have selected by right clicking the mouse and pressing Paste.
    7. Your MP4/MP3 player now has the music saved.

  6. HOW TO CONVERT AND DOWNLOAD VIDEOS:

    NOTE: The following steps will help you transform files into AMV format that can be played in a MP3/MP4. These formats are the ones that can be converted:
    1. Format AVI: .avi
    2. Format Windows Media: .asf, .wmv
    3. Format MPEG: .mpg, .mpeg
    4. Format Real Player: .rm
    5. Format QuickTime: .mov
    6. Format MPEG2: .vob

    Use the platforms: Windows98, Windows Me, Windows2000, Windows, Windows Media placer please upgrade to more than 9.0, DirectX please use 9.0 and the above edition.

    Installing Software: Install the CD found in your MP3/MP4 package. Double click on the folder Setup.exe in the AMV converter directory and follow the instructions. After the installation is complete, the “MP3 Player Utilities” program can be initiated from the menu. Select “AMV Convert Tool”.

    1. Converting a Media File: Click on the “Input File” button and select the video file that you would like to convert.
    2. Play the file. This software allows you to preview it. Use the buttons Play/Pause and Stop.
    3. Choose the files that need to be converted. The file or files will be visible in the list that is located in the bottom part of the screen. More than one file can be chosen by placing a check mark on the box located to the left of the file name. You may also exclude certain files by un-clicking.
    4. Deleting files. Click on the file that you would like to erase using the right button on the mouse and select “delete”.
    5. Selecting location of where it will be saved. Click the file “Output File” and choose where you would like to save it. You may choose to save it directly to your MP3/MP4 player.
    6. Convert file. Press the “conversion” button and all of the selected files will be converted.
    7. After the conversion is complete, the program will play the AMV video files automatically.
